About Me
Hi I’m Kim, Certified Professional Organizer
I’ve been training my whole life to be your professional organizer. In 2016, I was deep in a months-long depression when I discovered Marie Kondo. I learned firsthand how lifechanging decluttering can be—especially in a life transition, and how it makes room for freedom, clarity, and hope.
As a licensed occupational therapist since 2010 and a Certified Professional Organizer®, I have a unique, finetuned skillset to understand:
your environment—the whole house, a specific room, a closet, a drawer, categories from the most general to the most niche
who you are—what’s meaningful to you, your roles/rituals/routines/habits, your upbringing and belief system of your ability to tidy your home, your organizing needs and preferences, barriers to tidiness, and special considerations for making the most out of your space
your occupations—the everyday activities that occur in these spaces (or that don’t occur here because a lack of space, too much clutter, etc)
In 2020, I was a new mom in a pandemic, easily sucked into middle-of-the-night Amazon purchases, plagued by social media comparisons, and overloaded with hand-me-downs. I felt completely lost at how to balance all the dynamic and important aspects of my life. That difficult season propelled me deeper into discovering the importance of a tidy space that emphasizes calm, presence, and joy.
I have the passion and commitment to learn YOU and help translate your values and vision into a beautiful and functional space the whole family can intuitively and practically maintain.
Empowering through decluttering and providing personalized home organization for families is truly more than my passion; it is my purpose and my calling.
I chose to become certified to
be (and stay!) on the cutting edge of this incredible industry
demonstrate my commitment to lifelong personal development and continuing education
contribute to strengthening the work of organizing professionals and give back to NAPO
I proudly adhere to the highest ethical standards, which you can review here.
Do a Deeper Dive
I truly respect when potential clients do their due diligence in researching home organizers. You do NOT want just anyone coming into your home for this intimate work; it’s important to hire a professional whose values align with yours, someone you can trust.
